ABSTRACT

 The study is titled “The Role of Communication and Safety Assurance in Increasing Employee Productivity in the Unit Fire In Mataram Workplace “. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication and safety assurance applied to determine the role of institutions as well as communication and safety assurance in increasing employee productivity

This type of study is a descriptive and associative with a sample of 50 people from all employees 101 people. Data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation and questionnaires. While the data collection instrument used was questionnaire. The observed variables are communication (X₁), safety assurance (X₂) and labor productivity (Y). analysis tool used is a likert scale, multiple regression, multiple correlation, multiple determination, F test and t test.

The results of multiple regression calculations indicate a positive role between the X1 and X2 to Y with the constant 2.286. From the calculation of multiple correlation is known that there are relationships between variables with a contribution of 28.4% of the observed variables be seen from the results of multiple determination. Based on the F test results show that Fh> F tab (9.342> 2.419) means that there is simultaneously a significant role among the independent variables on the dependent variable. From the results of t test between X1 and Y do not have a significant because of th <t tab (1.381> 1.677), while the X2 and Y have a significant because of th> t tab (2.151 <1.677).
