ABSTRACT

            This study was conducted to examine the effect on the value of Intellectual Capital and the company’s financial performance effect on firm value . Intellectual capital as an independent variable in this study was measured by the Value Added Intellectual Capital ( VAIC ) which in proksikan with Value added of capital employed      ( VACA ) , Human Capital Value Added  ( VAHU ) and Structural Capital Value Added ( STVA ) . Financial performance variables proxied by ROA , ATO and GR , whereas the variable values ​​are measured with MBV . This research samples using a financial services company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2007 to 2010. This study tested the classical assumption test and regression coefficients. Results of this study indicate that Intellectual capital has no effect on firm value , so it does not support the stakeholder theory.
