ABSTRACT
Application of accounting information systems is one way to support the achievement of a company. In the application of an accounting information system in order to consider many aspects of information systems can support the expected goals of the system and the user can provide the information desired by the user. One of the most important aspects that must be considered in the application of information systems are human. Human resources is a dominant factor in achieving a company’s goals, because without the consideration of human behavioral factors designed systems can not run well. This study aims to determine whether there are significant gender, age, experience, education level and complexity of tasks either simultaneously or partially on the effectiveness of accounting information systems . The number of respondents in this study were 62 people. From the test results of simultaneous note that variables gender, age, experience, education level and complexity of tasks simultaneously influence the effectiveness of accounting information systems. Variables gender, age and education level did not affect the partial effectiveness of accounting information systems, while variablesexperience and complexity of the task partially influence the effectiveness of accounting information systems.
