MAKNA KONSUMSI DALAM PERSPEKTIF SYARIAH

Students’ Consumption is an activity undertaken by a student to spend a value of a product or service to fulfil the need. Syari’ah is a rule that must be obeyed and executed properly in the Quran and Hadith. Students of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty Economic Social Studies Education State Islamic Institute Mataram have studied economics particularly Islam consumption and already have such knowledge. As pre-service teachers, the gained knowledge is not only limited to the knowledge itself yet it must be practiced in real life on the bases of Islamic law. This research focuses on the followings: (1) How student’s meaning of consumption in perspective of syari’ah at Students of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty Economic Social Studies Education State Islamic Institute Mataram ? (2) How students to fulfil needs consumption in perspective of syari’ah at Students of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty Economic Social Studies Education State Islamic Institute Mataram?
This research is a qualitative research that uses phenomenological approach in which the researcher is the key isntrument. This research is conducted in the fifth semester students of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty Economic Social Studies Education IAIN Mataram. The data taken is primary and secondary data in the form of descriptive data gained from the fifth semester students of Economic Social Studies Education. The data is collected through deep interview and direct observation. The data is analyzed through reduction, presentation, conclusion, and verification. The data is validated through extended participation, finding the cycle of data similarities, perseverance observations, triangulation, discussion, negative case studies, adequacy of references, and a detailed description and auditing.
The research reveals that (1) The students meaning of consumption in perspective of Syari’ah is use goods or service by individual or groups to fulfil their needs with porpuse just not to looking for satisfunction but to pray with attention advice or ban of Islamic Syari’ah; (2) The Students fulfilling needs consumtion in perspective of syari’ah by consideration in consuming goods or services tailored to the needs, purchasing goods or services within budget, consuming not excessively goods, the consumed goods should be permitted by Islam, and providing alms from the budgets.
