EFEKTIVITAS TINGKAT PERPUTARAN MODAL KERJA TERHADAP RENTABILITAS EKONOMI PADA KPRI MAREJE PRAYA KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH

Profitability is a tool for assessing the success of a (corporate) in obtaining profit cooperative / SHU. Basically the increase of earnings from period to period indicates progress cooperative, but if the increase in earnings was also followed by a relatively large increase in cost and working capital turnover  relatively slow then it shows the ineffectiveness of Cooperatives in managing the business.

            The study was conducted on KPRI Mareje Praya Central Lombok. The problem in this study is how the Effectiveness of Working Capital on Economic Profitability on KPRI Mareje Praya Central Lombok regency of 2007 through 2011. Type of research is descriptive, the type of data used is the qualitative and quantitative data. The purpose of this study was to determine how the effectiveness of working capital to economic profitability Mareje KPRI Praya Central Lombok regency of 2007 through 2011.
The data collection methods used are documentation and interviews. The results of this study showed that the average working capital turnover in the years 2007-2011 KPRI Praya Mareje time is 0:12. Average earnings in the economy 2007 – 2011 amounted to 3.14%. Average working capital turnover ratio and equity ratio shows KPRI Mareje ineffectiveness in managing finances in the last 5years.

            Referring to these findings, the researchers suggest: to minimize the risk of lower receivables turnover or billable which can not be anticipated by means of setting a new policy on the provision of credit for not giving up or limiting soft loans to members and improve effectiveness in the collection of accounts receivable primarily receivables are delinquent or past due for example to cash discounts and low profitability ratio can be anticipated by reducing operating costs and less need cooperative needs to consider the wisdom in working capital management, namely the determination of the amount of funds invested in capital elements work according to the needs of the business.
